THE MAGICIAN’S DILEMMA
THIS IS ALL DAD’S FAULT.
If Dad hadn’t ignored you
Yelled at you
Oliver would still be here
Dad never has time for you
Dad’s too busy to play
Dad’s too busy to teach you magic
You were up early this morning
You made breakfast
You cleaned up
You invited Oliver to play
That’s when Dad woke up
Why shouldn’t you have fun?
You used to play with Oliver all the time
Especially when you finished your studies
You miss your studies now
Especially poetry
Because Mom would read with you
